Celebrating 15 years
Presenting sponsors: Bracewell LLP, Camden, CenterPoint Energy, H-E-B, Houston Methodist, Kinder Foundation, United Way of Greater Houston, and Laura and Tom Bacon
Nearly 1,000 civic leaders, researchers and community members gathered at the Kinder Institute's annual luncheon to celebrate the institute's 15th anniversary and the release of the 44th Kinder Houston Area Survey.
The sold-out event raised more than $600,000 to support the institute's work, helping to ensure its partnership-driven research remains a public good for the benefit of all Houstonians.
"This luncheon was more than a celebration of our 15-year anniversary — it was a testament to the impact we can have when we work together to move Houston forward," said Rose Rougeau, executive director of the Kinder Institute’s external affairs division.
Ric Campo, CEO of Camden, was also honored with the Stephen L. Klineberg Award for outstanding civic leadership.
