Honoring Bob Eury | Featuring Dr. Stephen L. Klineberg

Since 1982, Stephen L. Klineberg’s pivotal Kinder Houston Area Survey has tracked the remarkable transformations of Houston. The 2020 survey told a story about Houston’s overwhelmingly positive feelings of community solidarity and compassion. The momentous 40th anniversary survey in 2021 will tell a similarly remarkable story of Houston’s striking transformations in health, education, housing and more over the last year.

Join us on Tuesday, May 11 as we release the 40th annual survey findings through the 2021 virtual Lunch-Out.

Alongside Dr. Klineberg, the Lunch-Out will feature institute Director Bill Fulton, Houston Education Research Consortium Director Ruth N. López Turley and other leaders discussing key aspects of the institute’s transformative efforts responding to the challenges of the past year. The institute is also thrilled to celebrate Bob Eury, longtime president of Central Houston, as our 2021 honoree, for his decades of leadership to the institute, Rice University and countless nonprofit and civic organizations.

Additionally, immediately following the virtual Lunch-Out, attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with Dr. Klineberg and others on the topics about which they are most passionate.

Those who wish to join the institute by making a gift will have access to a number of opportunities for deeper connectivity, visibility and recognition. Registration will be open in early 2021.
