student demographics

This event will focus on the changing demographic composition of the Greater Houston region and what these trends mean for the schools, districts and organizations providing support to an evolving student population.

How is the population of Houston changing, and what does it mean for schools and programs serving young students? Join the Kinder Institute's Houston Education Research Consortium for a conversation about what these trends mean for the schools, districts and organizations providing support to an evolving student population. The findings presented will help school districts better plan for the number of children who will be enrolling in prekindergarten, as well as new or growing populations of students who may be coming through their doors with unique needs. This conversation will also help organizations providing services and support to children consider ways to ensure their programs are meeting those needs.

PNC is the presenting sponsor of the Kinder Institute's Education Research Engagement Series.
