Houston Education Research Consortium shares results from the Survey on Social and Emotional Skills. A panel discusses the study’s local and international implications.

The Houston Education Research Consortium (HERC) at Rice University and the Houston Independent School District (HISD) partnered with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on an examination of student social and emotional (SE) skills around the globe. Houston was selected to represent the U.S. for this study. This webinar will share the first findings from the study, both at the international and local levels. In addition, there will be a panel of experts in social and emotional learning to engage in conversation around what we know about SE skills, and what is going on at the local and national levels.

This is the first webinar in a multipart series, with additional webinars around student social and emotional skills and outcomes occurring this spring.
