2022 State of Housing

The Kinder Institute for Urban Research shares findings from the third State of Housing in Harris County and Houston report.

This webinar includes a summary of the 2022 State of Housing in Harris County and Houston report and a panel discussion on affordable housing challenges.

Read the inaugural State of Housing report (2020) to learn how dozens of key housing indicators shifted between 2010 and 2018. The second State of Housing report was released in 2021 with a review of changes from 2018-2019. The 2022 report is the first in the series to capture the pandemic’s impact on the local housing market.
