The Kinder Institute has increasingly been covering one of the most pressing issues facing metro Houston: the region's affordable housing crunch.
Through new research, events and a blog series, the Kinder Institute is exploring economic and political dynamics of an challenge affecting hundreds of thousands people in this region.
Earlier this month, the Institute hosted "Housing for All," a panel discussion featuring experts who discussed ways the region might address the affordable housing shortage. But they also highlighted some of the obstacles standing in the way.
The audience asked great questions during the discussion, but unfortunately time ran out before the panel could answer all of them. Kinder Institute Web & Social Media Editor Glissette Santana and Kinder Institute Director of Strategic Partnerships Kyle Shelton sat down to answer some of the most interesting questions we couldn't get to during the event.
