Yujie Hu is an assistant professor in geosciences at University of South Florida. His research interests focus on the development and application of GIS, spatial analytical models and visualization techniques to understand patterns and processes of urban systems such as transportation, public health, crime and human-environment interactions, as well as to provide policy implications for decision-makers.

Hu earned his Ph.D. in geography from Louisiana State University in 2016. Prior to joining the University of South Florida, Hu worked at the Kinder Institute as a research fellow.
