Jenna Lessans is a disaster recovery and resilience researcher at Rice University’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research. She helps lead a project that tracks spending and programmatic response to Hurricane Harvey and tracks policy and programmatic actions toward building resilience in the Greater Houston Area. Jenna has experience in city government and urban resilience. Her research interests include climate adaptation and international climate negotiations. She has a master’s degree in environmental management from the Yale School of the Environment and a master’s in international development from Emory University.
