Hilary Toma is the director of administration and university partnerships at Rice University’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research. In this role, she oversees all internal operations and manages cross-campus communications and partnerships. She previously worked for The Nature Conservancy in Arlington, Virginia, where she held multiple roles. Highlights include managing the organization’s government funding, including the Grants Service Network and all associated training, and serving as the chief of staff for the chief conservation officer. Toma completed her undergraduate work at The George Washington University and has a Master of Public Affairs from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University Bloomington. She serves on the board of the Citizens' Environmental Coalition in Houston.
