Richard Rogers,  is professor of sociology and director of the Population Program in the Institute for Behavioral Science at The University of Colorado at Boulder.

Rogers will give a talk entitled "Alcohol Consumption and Mortality" which focuses on his recent research interest on the health effects of alcohol consumption. The event is being co-sponsored by the Center for Drug and Social Policy Research (CDSPR) at the University of Houston and Rice University's Kinder Institute for Urban Research.
